Founded in 2024 by 金羽 Kino Jin,
Kiji Lab is a Shanghai-based animation studio with a creative spark! We specialize in 2D animation, motion graphics, stop motion, and unique blends of different media. From concept to final frame, we turn ideas into action and imagination into reality!
Lab Founder & Director
Kino Jin is the founder and director of Kiji Lab, where she creates emotionally resonant animation that brings stories to life. With expertise in character movement and narrative, she founded the studio in 2024 after gaining experience at Monks, FlickerLab, and CBS Studios’ Late Night Cartoons. Kino holds a BFA in Animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute.
Kino's work has garnered recognition at festivals worldwide, including the Athens Digital Arts Festival, Animae Caribe International Animation & Digital Media Festival, KuanDu International Animation Festival, and Feinaki Beijing Animation Week. Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned brands such as Google, Burberry, Hermès, Estée Lauder, Riot Games, Bleacher Report, Condé Nast, and CVSHealth. In 2023, she was recognized as one of The Drum Future 50’s best-emerging marketers.
At Kiji Lab, Kino continues to push boundaries, blending creativity with technology to tell compelling stories.
